CheckWhenDone is designed to know as little about you as possible.

There are no user accounts and no sign-up. The sheet you design is encoded entirely in the page URL in your browser. It is not saved on a server. If you share a sheet link, everything needed to rebuild the sheet travels inside that link, not through a database.

The site sets no advertising or analytics cookies and runs no third-party trackers. The pages are served through Cloudflare and hosted on servers in the European Union; like nearly all web infrastructure, these systems keep short-lived technical logs (IP address, requested URL, user agent) for security and abuse prevention. These logs are not used to profile visitors.

Printing happens locally in your browser through the normal print dialog. Typing in the configurator sends nothing anywhere by itself, but because the configuration travels in the URL, opening, refreshing, or following a sheet link sends that URL (title, rules, and QR link addresses included) to the server like any other web request, where it can appear in the short-lived technical logs described above.
