# About CheckWhenDone

> CheckWhenDone is a free tool for building printable habit check sheets,
> made and run by OlliDev.

CheckWhenDone exists because new habits stick better on paper. You design a
check sheet in the browser, print it on a single A4 page, hang it where you
will see it, and check a box every time you follow through. After roughly 20
checks a habit tends to carry on by itself, which is why the default sheet
has 20 boxes.

The tool is free and requires no account. There is nothing to sign up for
and nothing to install. A sheet's entire configuration is encoded in its
URL, so you can share a sheet with someone by sending a link, or reprint
your own next batch with the numbering continued from where you stopped.

CheckWhenDone is built and maintained by OlliDev, an independent software
developer. The site is a small, focused product: one configurator, one
printable page, no upsells. If you have questions or suggestions, see the
[contact page](https://checkwhendone.com/contact).
